    Trade Mark Classification

    International Classification of Goods and Services aka Nice Classification came into existence through the Nice Agreement which was entered into for the classification of goods and services for registration of trade marks. Classes 1 to 34 (detailed list given below) deal with goods while Classes 35 to 45 deal with Services (detailed list given below). The parties that are a signatory to the Paris Convention come under purview of the Nice Classification.

    The trade mark Applications are filed under the same heads of goods and services in all the countries signatory to it, in turn, helping in maintaining uniformity in filing to trade marks all around the world.
